Kathleen Oakes
Medium: Watercolors
Kathy chose the medium of watercolor because of its luminous qualities. She believes that by using various techniques to achieve the mood, it has allowed her to grow as an artist. Kathy is a Signature Member of The Central New York Watercolor Society and the owner of the Oakes Framing and Art Gallery. She has attended many workshops and studied with several accomplished painters.
Kathy says, “ I try to take something away form each class by keeping an open mind. I hope you enjoy looking at my paintings with the same excitement that I had in creating them.”
